Love Actually features films from around the globe and all genre of short film. This is our NINTH SUCCESSFUL year running!Once again we invite you to join us to as we screen an AMAZING group of submissions from all over the globe!Award-winning filmmakers, producers, iconic music artists and acclaimed actors. That's what we have in store for you at this years event!SCENEPR screens the best short films about love, sex and romance during our Valentine’s Day screenfest. Along with becoming one of the highest selling singles and most played music videos on MTV and BET in 1995, Adina Howard’s performance allowed young women of color and future recording artist to express their sexuality without shame.
“Adina Howard 20: A Story of Sexual Liberation” shares Adina’s story through her own words as well as the impact that she made during the 1990s and thereafter through the thoughts of fellow entertainers, educators, feminists, and fans.
The film gives an intellectual look into the inside of the highs and lows of the life a platinum selling artist, whose work has made a lasting impact despite the polarizing feelings towards her.
Director: Gezus ZaireBorn in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in the community of East Cleveland, Gezus Zaire is the founder of the award winning media outlet Rebel Life Media.
He is a nationally published journalist that has worked in television, film and radio. Bringing a diverse field of expertise that ranges from sports, politics, music, activism and history among many other topics, Zaire applies his experience and education to his documentaries to give them a unique feel.
Zaire is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts & Science in communication from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Ohio Valley Chapter.

Mistress May I? - 7:00Despite being a very successful dominatrix, Mistress Couple grapples with the fact that her parents cannot accept who she truly is.

Director: Gabrielle EwingGabrielle Ewing graduated from New York University, and double majored in Film/TV at Tisch School of the Arts and Journalism at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. Gabrielle’s interest in film/television began in high school and during her senior year she was part of a team of students that received an MSG Varsity Award for an outstanding full-game production. At NYU, Gabrielle found her passion for documentary filmmaking and during her sophomore year, her short documentary “Runnin’ on Empty” was selected for the NYU Sight & Sound Film Festival. The next year, another short documentary titled “Life After Sandy” was selected for the Atlantic City Downbeach Film Festival. She is currently in a yearlong honors course working on A HEARTH OF OUR OWN, which will tell the story of an undocumented Irish immigrant living in New York City. She is also interned at CNN's Documentary Unit. Gabrielle now lives in Washington DC and is an Associate Producer for 522 Productions.

Amber co-wrote (with Christopher Golden) and directed the animated web-series Ghosts of Albion for the BBC. The duo then novelized the series in two books for Random House. She has written more than 10 novels in the last 10 years.

Matt Jardin is a writer and director in Anchorage, Alaska. While he’s been making films his entire life, he started making not-terrible ones since 2011 with Could’ve Been More, a 25-minute dramedy about his ex-girlfriend who he’s totally over. Since then, he’s continued producing short films that have screened in festivals across the country and overseas. Matt is also an organizer for several film competitions – his favorite being the 24-Hour Film Royal. He is not on Wikipedia, but he is on most other social media at @mattjardin.

Director: Paul MurphyI am an Irish-born, London-based award winning director and writer.
My latest short silent comedy 'Wipeout' was made in 7 days as part of the Aarhus Short Film Challenge 2014. We won an Honourable Mention and were in the Top Ten Films of the Festival.
My Film London funded drama ‘Stop’ has had enormous success on the international film festival circuit, winning many awards, including two Best Actor Awards, playing in eighteen festivals thus far, and was Rankin’s Collabor8te ‘Film of the Week’ early this year.
‘Crossed Lines’ my first short film, was funded by the RTE/Film Base short film scheme and had a successful run on Irish television.
"Next!’ an online comedy series I directed with comedians Haiste and Lawrence was on the long list for the 2014 British Comedy Awards.
My clients include Saatchi & Saatchi, Auspicium, Volkswagen, Barclays, The Sunday Times, MTV, The Times, Unilever, and Diesel.
I used to be a 1st AD, with over twelve years experience in features, TV dramas, commercials, and promos, a skill base that proves very valuable in my directing career.
I am currently working with a number of writers, developing my next short film, a feature idea, and I am actively seeking opportunities to direct television drama.

However, in order to truly move on, Sam takes the audience into his own mind, where he must confront his past and overcome his fear of letting go.

Director: Sam LukSam Luk (1987, Canada) is a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker, born and raised in the suburbs of Hong Kong. Sam began writing for the screen in 2010. His first short film, Invincible Spring, was an ambitious project shot over three years, completing in August 2014. He has since founded Parafauna, a production company in Vancouver, British Columbia.
