It all started when two brothers realized there was something missing in Arizona. A community was missing out on valuable information that other news publications neglected to report. Sensing this need, they decided it was time for action.For 45 years, the Arizona Informant has been one of the strongest and important voices for African Americans in the state of Arizona. It continues to record Black history every week and subscribe to the credo: Hating no person, fearing no person... we strive to help every person.
As we commemorate 45 Years of Recording Black History we invite you to join us in celebration of all of those, past and present, who have made our community better and stronger.
Corporations and community groups are invited to support the fundraising event through the purchase of sponsor packages. Sponsor package benefits include sponsor tables for your guests, recognition at the event as well as related advertising promotional materials.
6pm - Cocktail Hour with appetizers and silent auction benefitting the Arizona Informant Foundation.
7pm - Formal dinner and community awards presentations.
