Thanks to you, Mayday Community Space’s 2014 Kickstarter campaign was a huge success! September will mark the first full year of operating this new movement organizing hub. Throughout the year we've hosted hundreds of grassroots events, from Indigenous groups sharing ancestral traditions, to the B&H; workers organizing for a union, to the Black Youth Project fighting back against police brutality. Because of your support, Mayday Space is thriving as the social justice movement hub we've been dreaming of. It's time to celebrate and show some love to all of you who chipped in to make this happen. For your reward, you chose a ticket to one of the first parties at our allied Starr Bar. Well, we're excited to announce that it's finally ready to open its doors! On September 24th, we've reserved a night for you. More details forthcoming, but save that date for a night of live music, dancing, and sharing at Starr Bar!
