THE SALON to end all salons

Free - $250.00

PSNY's quarterly Salon Series aims to create a safe and vibrant space for writers and literature lovers to meet, mingle, think, feel, indulge, discuss, listen, learn, and live life to its fullest!
Each event includes a book reading & discussion, a handful of short poetry readings, an open mic, and a complimentary open bar throughout. Cocktail attire is encouraged but not required.
Members of the Poetry Society of New York receive two complimentary tickets to each Salon. For more information about becoming a member of PSNY, visit poetrysocietyny.org/membership.
This inaugural event will feature Janaka Stucky and his new collection of poems ASCEND ASCEND, which is forthcoming from Third Man Records. Copies of the book can be ordered on Amazon, at IndieBound, or on site at the event.
There will also be spotlight readings by PSNY Members, Rosalind Resnick and Enid Hernandez-Torrres, and a short open mic. Open mic signups begin when doors open at 7pm. The first 5 people to sign up will give ~3 minute readings beginning at 10:15pm.
We are thankful to our beer, wine, and liquor sponsors, Brooklyn Brewery, Fifi, and New York Distilling Company, for their donations.
Location details will be sent to attendees after they register here on Eventbrite.
Feel free to contact info@poetrysocietyny.org with any questions.
