Poetic Computation: Detroit Showcase

Free

The School for Poetic Computation invites you to the Poetic Computation: Detroit Showcase. This showcase is a chance for our community to observe the students’ exploration of what“poetic computation” means and see the projects they made in class. Our students spent one intense week peeling behind the layers of abstraction within technology and thinking critically in order to cultivate a more caring and imaginative tech for the communities they are a part of. Come support our amazing students, celebrate their hard work and hang out.

Poetic Computation: Detroit is made possible by the students.
Talks begin at 6 p.m.
Poetic Computation: Detroit is organized by Neta Bomani, Melanie Hoff, Lauren Gardner and Taeyoon Choi.

Thank you to our partner, Talking Dolls and supporters, Detroit Community Technology Project and the Room Project.

This event is free and open to the public.
