I'm a fellow storyteller and I realized a few years ago that while coworking spaces are being created all over the city for other industry entrepreneurs, we storytellers really have only a few choices of places to work from.
Yes, there's Media Center which is a great place but we believe for storytellers to truly grow and develop, they need something that really caters to all of their demands.

Access to Like Minded Storytellers

Access to Equipment and Services (Distribution, Marketing, Web, Data, Stock Footage, Casting, etc.)

Access to Industry Mentors (Film, TV, PR/Marketing, Tech, etc.)

Access to Festivals/Organizations

...as well as other stuff (screening facilities, tv studio, lockers, conference rooms, production offices, media/edit center, event space, archival, etc.)
New York Film Loft purpose is to bring together an amazing community of storytellers, actors, creatives, mentors, investors, and organizations/businesses, all with a common trait: the ability to dream big, and a hunger to disrupt the world of film, television and other forms of visual media.
New York Film Loft is an opportunity to discuss hot button topics in Film, Television and Digital Content. It is also a place for storytellers, distributors, television networks, film studios and investors to come together for the purposes of extending business networks, develop content, share important industry events and develop meaningful relationships.
This event is an industry networking event and an opportunity to ask me more about New York Film Loft (AND HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED AND HELP US MAKE IT HAPPEN!!).
