As a follow up of Learning to Teach Conference last weekend, we are organizing “Design and Technology 101″ by Mushon Zer-Aviv. The event is inspired by an idea from the conference participants; a teacher will be invited to lead a first day of their class, the ‘students’ attending the session will be a mix of teachers who teach the similar subject and anyone who’s interested in the topic. After about an hour of the class, the attendees will give feedback to the teacher about their learning experience and collectively brainstorm about better ways of teaching and learning.
Mushon will be covering introductory concepts of programming, data and mapping, followed by a conversation about teaching tricks, use of technologies for teaching and critical thinking assignments.
