Back and Better Than Ever!
Join us for Waffle Games 2.0: April 5th, 2019 from 5PM-10PM at Hunter College! Panels, workshops, an exhibit hall, and of course, free waffles!
Started in 2018, the Waffle Games is a gaming expo and conference featuring an audience of undergraduate and graduate students, many looking towards careers in the games industry, whether that be design, research, esports, marketing, media law, community management, pedagogy, or academia. Last year we were able to attract over 250 CUNY students and alumni to compete in tournaments, network, and partake in workshops and panels led by game developers, Hunter students, and faculty. This year we would like to continue this success by expanding to have an exhibitor area. We are inviting local NY/NJ game studios, businesses, and individual freelancers to exhibit at the conference to be able to showcase their games and services without having to pay a fee.
