CASEY JAMES PRESTWOOD
There's a movement bringing classic country music into the 21st century, with a renewed authenticity not typically found on the radio, and the standard-bearer is Casey James Prestwood.  With roots in the South, and refined in the Rockies, Prestwood has crafted a lively and infectious sound that is solely his own.

EXTRA GOLD
Since forming in 2017 as the house band for Denver's only monthly country music showcase, Extra Gold have crafted a country music cocktail that is equal parts Golden-Era Country Revival, Folk, and Rock & Roll. With the addition of upright bass in the rhythm section combined with pedal steel and fiddle, the band plays their cards. They waltz through tender three-part harmony ballads before inciting two-steppin’, beer-slingin’ dance parties that have placed them in venues with modern-day honky-tonk heroes like Whitey Morgan and Jesse Dayton, as well as future household names like Paul Cauthen and Zephaniah Ohora. With a debut EP soon to be released and a full catalog of originals on the table, the tempo continues to pick up for Extra Gold in 2018. 

GRAYSON COUNTY BURN BAN
Grayson County Burn Ban started with some good friends coming together to give life to a few country-folk songs that lead singer and songwriter Austen Carroll Grafa had written about growing up in small town Texas.  A few songs grew to a few more and now the band has grown into a 6 piece of sound and story that is so unique they had to make up their own genre. Weaving together the folk-like storytelling with honky-tonk rhythm and ethereal rock, Grayson County Burn Ban brings the camaraderie, peace-of-mind, and energetic force that one may find sitting around a campfire with friends, making them Denver's premier "Campfire Country" band.
Their debut album "Better Neighbor" was released in early 2018 and paved the way for an appreciative year that included a "Denver Westword Best Of" nomination, a 3 week Texas tour, and multiple festival appearances. They will hit the ground running in 2019 with a new release and many more exciting shows to be announced.

HANG ROUNDERS
New country done the good old way since 2015. The band members' pedigree reads like a who's who of Denver dive-bar hero musicians (featuring members of The Legendary River Drifters, Dudebabes, The Knew, Ned Garthe Explosion, CrushCraze, Bangtel), but what comes across in the music is four mountain men manifesting Johno Roberts' tales of his native Tennessee and his observations on a changing Colorado. 
Hang Rounders' music is best heard on a dance floor, where it is allowed to do its work and get you movin', singin', and bringin' (your sister). 
Their newest songs, "June Bug" b/w "Shaky Hands," out on 7 inch vinyl in December 2018, were produced at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver, CO with engineer Colin Bricker, and feature guest musicians Mark Shusterman (Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats) on keys and the most excellent Jennifer Jane Niceley on backing vocals.

WHIPPOORWILL

Fort Collins alternative folk-rock trio Whippoorwill – Alysia Kraft (guitar, vocals), Staci Foster (guitar, banjo, harmonica, vocals), and Tobias Bank (drums, vocals) – finished work in February 2109 on a much-anticipated full-length debut album. Produced by J.Tom Hnatow (Horse Feathers, Vandaveer) and mixed by Duane Lundy (Jim James, Ringo Starr) at Lexington, KY's Shangri-La Studio, the album is the product of two years touring the American west honing a sound both expansive and raw, rootsy and otherworldly, and always landing in the grittier ‘alt’ corners of country and folk.
“Cathartic, experiential alt-folk written by boots-in-the-dirt, partner-in-crime country girls (Staci Foster and Alysia Kraft) and delivered across drummer Tobias Bank's vast percussive landscape. For Whippoorwill, there's little separation between the soul and the scenery-- heartbreak is a ripped floodplain and longing, an unbroken expanse of sky. It's Cormac McCarthy meets Neil Young via non-traditional banjo, long harmonica riffs, distorted guitar, and three-part harmonies that can scorch, soar, or haunt accordingly. "
The band has shared the stage with Big Thief, Shovels and Rope, Mipso, Horse Feathers and Aaron Lee Tasjan. With palpable chemistry, dynamic live shows, and a long-game approach to their creative work, Whippoorwill has become a Colorado darling and one of the region’s most-hyped bands on the brink.
