Tribeca New Music is proud to present composer, violist, and vocalist Jessica Meyer and choreographer & dancer Caroline Fermin as they partner to create And She, a 21st Century take on Greco-Roman classical drama where song, dance, poetry, symbolic staging, and audience participation creates a visceral evening of storytelling. Woven throughout will be the vivid poetry of four acclaimed, living women poets - Laura Kasischke, Alicia Jo Rabins, Jennifer Beattie, and Lucy Anderton - in order to explore two universal experiences: the joys and heartaches of love, and the death of a parent.
